Tina was born in Trondheim, but grew her first year in Tønsberg, before she along with her brother and mother moved to Hasselvika (Fosen half the island). She lived there until she was 14 years before she took the option to move to her father in Oslo. She lived there for about 6 months, before her father took the family north to the Lofoten Islands to try their luck fishing:)
After school she went to high school in Kabelvåg, before she took her second year at the photographer line at Stokmarknes high school
Then she moved to Bodø. In Bodø she has taken education as a medical secretary, and 28. June 09 she was authorized when the exam was passed. She was offered a job in Hedmark and therefore they began to move south.
She discovered Icelandic Sheepdog breed when she met Geir Steinar in 2000, his family has a bitch named Freya who today (2009) turns 14 in April. She quickly became interested in the breed, but it went 6 years (spring 2006) from her and Geir S met each other until they bought their own dog.
Geir Steinar was born and raised in the Lofoten Islands, specifically Kabelvåg. He is a graduate engineer, working at sea on a boat sesmikk. His internship is 5 + 5, and have much free time when he is home.
In 2008 they picked up an Icelandic Sheepdog dog named Garpur (born 2006) from Råde. Garpur comes from Kennel Alvedans where he was born together with the 3 other siblings.
Their name (IsStjerna) was the mother in the house that came on. There was much speculation about how the name they wanted, but fell to an end IsStjerna. This name was approved just before Christmas 2008 at the FCI, but Midtnes of March 2009, the public permission to publish this as their kennel name approved .. This came just in time for Yrja´s first litter that was born 13 January to register it on the puppies
